She is a producer and writer working in film, theatre and television. She is currently working on a feature-length screenplay, a full-length play and numerous short pieces. She is a founding member of Eyes Up Here Productions and wrote its first production, Running with Sharks (2013), which has been adapted for television. She has worked in TV development (TV Land) and in film (Emerging Pictures, Columbia Film School). In theatre, she is the Producing Artistic Director of Noor Theatre, which co-produced Food and Fadwa (New York Theatre Workshop, 2012) and is developing and producing the director-driven workshop, The Myth Project (May 2014). Past theatre includes: Williamstown Theatre Festival (Resident Dramaturg/Literary Manager), McCarter Theatre (Literary Assistant/Copywriter), Actors Theatre of Louisville (Literary Associate) and Passage Theatre (Resident Dramaturg/Artistic Consultant); she developed productions at New York Theatre Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Araca Group, New Georges, Arab-American Comedy Fest, Columbia University SoA (Theatre and Film) and Carnegie Mellon SoD.
